Our Eco Faster Drying Screed has been developed for projects with short lead times. This screed enables floor coverings to be applied at least twice as fast as Gyvlon Eco Screed.
Floor Screeding Solutions can intervene on building sites with demanding deadlines whilst still maintaining the advantages of anhydrite screed.
We use Gyvlon Eco FD Screed which has been extensively tested for best results. With a minimum SR2 surface finish, we believe in the quality of this screed.
This screed can be installed quickly, at 200m2 per hour. Furthermore, it can be walked on in just 24 hours and can will generally accept trades and foot traffic within 48 hours.
Once suitable moisture levels are attained, the screed can be covered without any rick of cracking or curling. Generally curing at 2mm per day, compared to 1mm for standard anhydrite. Floor coverings on a 50mm screed can be installed after 28 days, compared to 60 days with standard anhydrite.
Eco FD is extremely versatile and can be used for all applications. For example; underfloor heating/cooling, thermal and sound insulation and floor levelling.
Unlike cement based screeds, the virtual absence of expansion joints preserves the aesthetics of the floor coverings and allows all the freedom both in terms of tile sizes and layouts (diagonal installation, lack of joints, etc.) or vinyl coverings (hospitals, sports halls etc.).
This screed also comes with a low skin option depending on our customer’s requirements.
