Our Extra Strength screed is an excellent choice for both commercial and domestic buildings. In particular where higher than normal loads are expected. For example; car parks, garages and service stations.
Our strength bearing screed can be walked on in just 24-48 hours, and can be loaded and dried within 7 days.
Floor Screeding Solutions use Gyvlon® XTR Flowing Screed. We endorse that this is the strongest screed for the most demanding situations.
We can lay this screed at a minimum thickness of 25mm, depending on the surface and our customer’s requirements.
Our Extra Strength screed is uniquely protein free, which means it cannot harbour harmful bacteria. Therefore, it is ideal for use in hospitals and care homes.
We can install Gyvlon® XTR at up to 2000m2 per day, and it can receive foot traffic from 24 to 48 hours. This screed can dry at a rate of 1mm per day, up to a screed depth of 40mm. It can then be loaded after 7 days and can also be force dried as early as 7 days after application, if required. Ultimately, this saves our customers precious time on their build.
We find a key benefit of XTR screed is that it has extremely low shrinkage. Therefore it does not curl, and there is minimal risk of cracking. There is also no requirement for reinforcement.
We believe this to be a great choice for underfloor heating. As well as being super strong, this screed has nearly twice the thermal conductivity of traditional sand and cement screeds.
